20 Years of Experience

Five years ago, Brigitta and Roxie, a dynamic mother-daughter duo embarked on a mission to create Broxies. They endeavoured to create a full-service event marketing company that set itself apart from traditional event-planning and staffing services by also providing in depth marketing consulting.

Roxie Woudberg


Roxie’s extensive experience in the entertainment and fashion industries extends locally and internationally. As a model and business women she has worked for prestigious international clients including Versace, Dior, Rotkäppchen and Rovagnati. Roxie’s Canadian clients include, Grand Touring Automobiles, Maxim and Footlocker. While modelling in Shanghai, Roxie found her calling by using her diverse local and international networks to plan special events. Roxie believes in giving back to the community and has helped to organize events with charities like Danielle’s place and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Broxies clients benefit from Roxie’s commitment, enthusiasm and drive that allowed her to excel in the international modelling world. Combine that with her industry knowledge and experience, and you have a dynamic go-getter.

Brigitta Woudberg


Brigitta brings 20 years’ experience in finance, sales and project management, covering all aspects of operations from recruitment and training to developing value-added service, processes and procedures improving operating results and efficiencies to exceed client expectations. She has a powerful understanding of the logistics involved in coordinating projects, big and small, including budget control and appropriate staffing. With Brigitta you get a match of skills and fit, combined with her organizational abilities and intense drive for excellence. She believes in close client-communication throughout any event management project from planning to execution.

Lauren Gibson

Executive Coordinator

Lauren is a bilingual fashion and film graduate whose skills in promotion, public relations, event management, modelling and acting have taken her to diverse jobs locally and internationally. Lauren has worked with major brands and artists like Birks, Tory Lanez, Shangri-La Hotels, Wildfox, Audi, Bikini Village, Sick Kids Hospital, Bacardi and The Canadian Open.
Her experience acting as a celebrity concierge and event coordinator for celebrities during their visits to the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival has tested her ability to work in high pressure situations, where Lauren has flourished. Lauren always comes through in the clutch!
